I have a 12 ga hammer gun to clean up for a widow. Barrels are marked laminated Steel Belgium. It shows Damascus under the forearm and has a swamp rib. Bores appear pitted pretty bad but I haven't cleaned them yet. Serial #1518. Looks like a mid level gun to me. Any input would be greatly appreciated. |

Pictures would be helpful.
One has to consider some of those Belgian guns' barrels were struck pretty lightly, to get them to carry and swing as nicely as they do. So pitting could be a real issue. |
