The first woodcock of the season, taking over the first point of the season by my pup Bliss, dropped with the right barrel of a little Belgium 16 gauge hammergun that UncleDanFan might recognize. The perfect way to start the season.

Looks like you had a nice start to the Grouse and Woodcock season, give the pup a nice pat on the head for me. The old 16 gauge Hammer gun is fantastic! Be careful out here and keep having a great time.
