| Bow started in Oct here . Usual camo is one of those baseball hats with the little lites in them . 1st day out , of course a squirrel comes right in and was distracted enough to let me start the lite . He nearly climbed my leg , but went around and up the tree I was sitting under . Came around and was scratching the hat trying to figure it out ! Finally left , but came back 10 mins later and , up the tree and scratching the hat !! ... deer hunted at the kids , nice pond right at the house . Was coming out at dark , and right at the house , a woodcock flew by so close , he touched the hat !! 1st week of November , was going into my stand at daybreak , and stepped on another woodcock . He flew up , and touched the brim as he went up . Didn't scare me oddly enough !!... don't want turkeys or any bobcats to catch onto this penom !! |

Those are nice memories to have, even without a deer. Turkeys and bobcats don’t eat much - not to worry.

| I'm with you , Putzie ... didn't have a grouse come near me , though - plenty of drumming from 1 down there , nearby though ! |
