Just got off of the phone with the guys at Backridge and one is a 16 gauge guy! 2 3/4 paper or plastic bismuth shells at 1200 fps. Don't know the pressures. They will start with 2 1/2" shells next year. Woohoo!

Yayy! That's great news. I've been hoping someone would load something other than #5 bismuth in 2.5" hulls. 2's, 4's 6's and 7's would be awesome. ITX would be even better.

They are loading ITX as well at a few dollars more a box. Perfectly round shot that isn't drip moulded and patterns more uniform

The 1oz loads are half the price of RST 7/8oz Bismuth loads. At quick glance it would seem the RST low pressure angle comes at a steep price mark-up.

This is fantastic. Really looking forward to their 2.5" offerings next year also.

Hoping they put those in 2.5" hulls as well.

These guys look good. Maybe I can ditch the 12 gauge for duck hunting.

Very seriously doubt they will be better then RST shells. And if there to expensive then you can reload. And if you need perfect round balls to have better patterns, or even care about that, your in the wrong sport. You should give under water basket weaving a go.

Wow, by my math the 16ga Bis shells are roughly the same $ as DIY reloads and they hint of more 10ga offerings, certainly keep an eye on these guys.
