No brainier.
I like RST and what they produce for older and more fragile guns, but nothing like a little competition. Maybe Backridge can be talked into a line of vintage type ammo. |

I compared the price + shipping for 100 rounds of Backridge and Boss bismuth and they are within $1 of each other. (Boss's free shipping and Backridge's lower price + shipping balance out.)
I'm thinking next year is the year to finally ditch the 12 gauge for ducks and make my old friend, Mr. 16ga.-M11 the main duck gun.

Addendum: The Boss loads came out $9 lower because the projected tax wasn't applied because I'm in another state. I intend on trying out both. |

I've only used it a few times in the early season on mostly woodies. That said, imho it would perform just fine on any mallards in that 30-40 yard range. The gun has .021" choke, and it throws nice patterns downrange. |
