None of those are them. CHEDDITE, not Gualandi.

I have almost a full bag of those wads if anyone needs them.

$5.00 plus shipping seems about right.

OVERKILL

The Cheddite wads are Gualandi wads, just renamed.

What particular wad are you needing?

Mike

Without getting in too far and no disrespect....These wads are not Gaulandi's. They don't look like anything B & P or Fiocchi wads either.

I believe them to be made by Cheddite.

I went as far as sending a load to Tom Armbrust. The load I sent was optimistic and about 2,000 PSI over SAAMI MAP. I was going to do more testing, but then Graf's stopped carrying them and/or ran out and I didn't take it any farther.

I will post a picture of the wads tomorrow.

Sure glad I stocked up last year, these wads make up my favorite heavy pheasant loads. I posted a year or so ago with two loads I had tested, one 800x and the other Longshot. Both pattern real tight per choke in my shotgun. The wad is for sure different than anything I've seen anywhere else. The wall thickness is heavier and stiffer. They have proven to raise pressures more than the normal wads we all use. The Longshot load really gets it done without overly high pressures.

To bad they are no longer available , they are a great wad for Straight walled hulls . I use them exclusively for my 1 oz loads .

The 1 1/8oz loads that Bow Builder (long ago) developed and the recent loads that ole_270 had tested are really good loads.

It's funny how things like this pop out from time to time , then disappear . The wad looks like a 16ga version of the old Pacific wads , and way back when , Activ had something like them . I have a habit of just buying what I need , so fall into the RAN OUT thing now and again !

That's the bad part of low sales numbers , companies drop the product line for being non profitable.

The 16 is no exception , glad I own the dr 16 mold at least when it can be run (lol ) I will have wads to shoot.

Best regards Nick
