So, I have been loading them with WST powder, Fiocchi 616 primer, Rem SP wad, and 7/8 ounce of shot.

They shoot well and BOY do they smell good !! Smile

Mike

Yes, what fun! About three days ago I ran on to a similar stash of about 100 of the same in 16 gauge (with a few Win high brass Duck and Pheasant hulls mixed in). My plan is to load them with fiber wads and shoot them in older SxS guns I have at game, similar to the paper hulls/fiber wad stash I just ran through this past bird season. I started shooting my NID at the start of bird season, and just never put it down til the end. What fun!

I've used a goodly number over the years. Still have a few left for old card wad recipes.

I have a few dozen of these that were pulled from a wet garbage can, so I won't load them - but I still have a use for them. When I get set up to roll crimp a bunch of my cut-down hulls, I clamp one of these in the vise, fire up the drill press, and lower the crimping tool onto this hull until the tool heats up nicely - a warm roll tool seems to produce nicer loads.
