I have been lazy about reloading my 16 shells lately. I broke out my 16g gauge to 20 gauge gaugemates that I use in my drillings and got into the $4.98 boxes of 20 gauge. (I am still waiting for the herters 16 ga ammo to come down). Anyway, I tried the unit in my Remington 870 16 gauge with the 20 ga shells. Everything worked without any problems - especially no ejection problems. They fed from the magazine tube into the chamber without a glitch. I had been uncertain if the units would work properly in a pump gun. And the 7/8 oz shells broke clays just fine. I just wanted to report to those wondering about how they work in a pump.

Great report,
I wish Gaugemates was still in business

I especially like the 10 - 12 adapters

For 12 to 16 I use the unobtanium Lothar Walther adapters

Others, I use Lil Skeeters or Savage Four-Tenners

Or Briley, Puraugh, or Skeetmaster full length tubes

Mike

I have used the 410ers forever (maybe 50 yrs). They have ALWAYS worked better than expectations ! .... however , the thing is to get them out of the gun and give the barrel a cleaning swipe soon after use . There is something about the area between the O-ring and tube end that collects junk and heat FAST . It can also cause a ring as the rust is a funny phenom there . Otherwise , love em .
