It looks like all the big reloading suppliers are out of stock. BPI, Precision, say out of stock. Any other sources available? |

2 3/4 and cut to 2 1/2. Ballistic products has blue and red. Order 2 1/2 from rst. Pretty expensive but good shells |

get one of Byrdog's trimmer ... I've done garbage cans full with mine - still on the 1st blade . You can make any length you want . I've just been trimming a hair off of Feds , makes them even 29/16 M12 useable . WORTH IT !!! |

I have a trimmer but don’t have a skiver. I’ll have to order one. Is the trimmer mentioned adjustable and where can I find it? I wonder why the 2-1/2”s aren’t available. |

If your doing cheddite you don’t need a skiver. They will crimp just fine. And this virus has everything shut down. Believe they come from France. |

Good to know, thanks. I’ll give that a shot. That works because I was having some stack height issues. |

Swampy what was you using? I’m guess sg16. If so switch to the super g wad (1816). You will have great crimps. |

I have been using
Cheddite 2 1/2 plastic hull
16.0 Green Dot
Remington RP wad
7/8 ounce of shot
Cheddite primer
or
2 1/2 paper hull
16.0 Green Dot
Remington SP wad
7/8 ounce of shot
Cheddite primer
For a very nice light load, you can go down to 15.0 grains of Green Dot and 7/8 ounce of shot.

That’s the wad that replaces the SG16 but is just a bit taller correct? |

The bottom of the base is little different. Seems to crimp better for me anyway. The measurements provided on the two wads are little different, but side to side, no difference in height |

Hey Skeetx,
would you happen to know what the pressure and speed are on those 2 loads using the RP and SP wads. I 've got a couple bags of each, but never use them. Load almost exclusively 2 1/2" hulls these days. |
