Saw skeettx 's post on the 21/2 16's , and coincidently , just obtained a thousand or so RST 12's - same length . Usually , when getting new cases , I go to the Warner to check them as it has a very tight rim . Only cases that work 100% are the old Champ II's . These cases are 2 types , blue 1oz and orange 3/4 (yep , 12ga 3/4) . The blues are the usual - maybe 1 out of 6 will let the gun close after sizing . The orange , however , will let 19/20 close . The cases are all 4 star cases , of course , are diff manufacture as the diff colors state . My take is , the orange are much lighter loads and don't stretch those cases out quite as much . Now I have 1K of usable cases to blast in the Warner without too much fooling around ! ....17gr 700X , got some RXP wads from someone , and 7/8oz , chedd primer for tightness . loads nice !

Today I shot Crazy
Rem 3200 with 16 gauge barrels
Browning Citori 16 gauge
All went well

What fun when the hulls fit the rim recesses
