Work was giving away file cabinets so I found a way to put them to good use.
I finally have a way to sort my steel, bismuth, lead field and lead target loads.

Thanks guys!
It really organized ammo for me. It also gave me more room so I can purchase more ammo! |

The commercial\industrial 3 drawer cabinets also work well for putting a solid core door on top of for a reloading bench. With the Ex wifes hutch top on top of it, just saying.
I should start looking for some of the taller cabinets like you got at Salvation Army here (it is where Mayo Clinic donates them) for storage of ammo instead of climbing under the reloading bench and moving flats around. Great job! |

EmtyMag,
Old metal file cabinets are fantastic for storing shells, no doubt about it, I have 4 of them myself, the wife keeps swiping them for her laundry room however!
Real nice set up for storing shells!

Weight limits, anyone? Might want to have the lower drawers loaded pretty heavily before opening one of the upper ones when it's loaded. Then again, a file cabinet full of paper can also be damned heavy. OK, I've convinced myself -- it's common sense. |
