Thanks for interest but trying to move gun in next month so will be moving it to action site this week. Rare and very nice Fox 16-gauge SPE. This gun seems to have more engraving than most SPEs. I am very much a novice and would defer to others, but I understand only about 48 SPE Foxes were made in 16 gauge. This gun SN 303359 has 26" barrels with very good original blue and excellent bores. There is one minor ding on the left barrel near the muzzle. As indicated by the card, the gun was made with the single selective trigger. Straight grip stock with a 14 1/2" LOP to the end of a Pachmayr old English pad. This gun weighs about 6.4 lbs and handles great with a DAC of 1 5/8" and a DAH of 2 3/4". The single trigger and ejectors all function properly. When I obtained the gun about 18 months ago, Del Whitman thoroughly cleaned, repaired a “check” mark in the wood right behind the tang (see picture), and replaced pad (the first picture shows before old pad was replaced). The gun has functioned flawlessly since I’ve had it using RST loads. I am only selling because I need money for a different gun. I have just under $6K into the gun. I would be willing to take a small loss before listing on GI.

Price: $5,000 plus shipping and insurance to your FFL. 3 day non-firing inspection (you pay shipping on return). Any questions, contact me at mathisep@gmail.com or by PM.

Are you sure your stock measurements are correct? They are much different on the card.

Yes. Gunsmith Del Whitman measured when I purchased the gun and they are consistent with measurements prior owner provided.
