Is it ok to roll crimp up against a spreader insert, without a overshot card.
I bought 200 win paper hulls new in the box and plan on roll crimping them with aa compression formed data. They are a little larger capacity than that,seemed safer that way. |

Yes. They are ideal for roll crimped loads. If you decide to put a thin layer of shot over the spreader to strengthen the core of the pattern, you would then put a nitro card over the shot. Otherwise, just roll crimp on top of the spreader as is. |
