This is a FWIW thread.
This year I have needed to use non-toxic shot for some of the places I have hunted upland. I had a few pounds of it that I bought for waterfowl and decided to keep using it for upland.
I have been very pleased with it on pheasants and sharptails. |

Assuming you are reloading, can you share the recipe? |

UncleDanFan,
Stout? Not really, both are only 1 1/8 oz. loads and the velocities aren't anything out of the ordinary.
They pattern very nicely in my 1100 and my Citori.
I think they are rather pedestrian, a very good pedestrian!! |

I have decided to make the switch from steel to bismuth shot. It’ll probably take about 2 years or so to get all the steel I have shot up. That should give me time to get the $$ for the Bismuth shot. I have 4’s from Rotometal now. They are deadly out of a Sweet 16 modified choke on decoying ducks. |
