Not about 16 gauge. I need some loads for 10 gauge with lead shot. I need 2&7/8 length loads for older shotguns and 3&1/2 inch loads for an Ithaca NID double and a browning pump. Both fiber wad and plastic wads. I have Herco, blue dot, red dot, green dot, long shot, clays, and 700x powders. Federal, Remington, Cheddite hulls. Prefer 1&1/8, 1&1/4, 1&1/2 ounce loads. Mostly for practice. Low pressure (Damascus safe) in 2&7/8 inch loads.

I load for an NID and a Smith Quality 2

p.s. for heavier black powder loads, I use Alcan all brass hulls Smile

Not sure on the count but I do have some Alcan once fired 10 gauge paper hulls that are in great shape that I have been thinking of getting rid of, great for low pressure loads. Also some remington 10 gauge wads.

Been shooting this one ever since Skeettx shared his low pressure 10ga library with me a while back, used a 1oz 700x load off it as a base and played with substituting Reddot & Promo, finally had it tested at PR last week, great for knocking the rust off the O/U & SxS Duck and Goose guns & me before season + just plain fun otherwise. Won't cycle the Gold, go figure.

Any ratty 10ga hull trimmed (thank you Byrdog, yes I use and had a mix of Fed, Rem, Win & an old Bis hull tested) to ~2.2" internal ~2.5" OAL, w209, 18g BY VOLUME Reddot or Promo, SP10 but see no reason a PT1044 couldn't be used, 1oz reclaimed lead, 6 fold. I evolved it to this hull length so no fillers needed and have a dedicated 600 set to the lowest column setting so no fussing with heights, yes the wad is too long for this small amount of shot but I just crush the excess petals into the crimps/shot column works fine, tried trimming but wasn't worth the effort. Sorry for all the words....

hull/speed/pressure...
rem/1237/7420
bis/1185/5920
fed/1248/7980
win/1202/8410
rem/1248/7910

avg 1224/7528 remove old bis hull anomaly 1233/7930 not too bad for a mess around/practice shell IMO. Enjoy....

Hey Bill, thanks, finding time to visit a couple blogs again since c19 influenced business changes and waterfowl seasons are winding down. Indeed, if a 10ga fanatic like myself, Skeettx's data sheets are nice to have in the library.
