Hi - just wondering about availability of new shells in your area?

Not abundant, but there’s some around. Never was abundant. What is available seem to be the better stuff, heavy loads.

Skeettx Very jealous of your getting the gifting of the Super X Mark 5. That's my favorite pheasant load ever.

Very nice. I got about 6 boxes of the federal just like yours. I have 1 box left. Shot them on the skeet field. Sure would like to find some more, and if they were 3.69 that would be awesome

SX,

Love them old Mark Vs, and CFs to boot I believe. Shot lots and lots of mallards with these before non-tox regs became the law--my favorite shell for ducks back in the 70s and 80s. Also, more or less have duplicated this load with 540/HS6 powder (but Rem plastic wads) in CF hulls with #5s for pheasants since the early 80s--a killer load. Both ducks and pheasants mostly fell to my older Auto 5 16 gauge Browning, at least until recent years. Enjoy!

None in the few places to buy shot shells in Topeka, KC Cabelas is the best source.

That said per last inventory I have over 8600 on hand, not counting reloading components
