Anyone know anything about these? I believe they were made by a company in Finland, but can’t find anything on them. Really would like to know what size and kind of primer. Looks to be a boxer type primer.

Looks like a large rifle primer. Have you measured it for comparison? Is the shell brass or paper? If it is a brass hull a large rifle primer could be used with the appropriate load recipes.

Yes sir, I de primed one and measured. It measures .250. I don’t have any large riffle primers at this time to compare. I’m going to look for some local tomorrow, not sure I will have any luck. They are brass 2 1/2

I’ll measure a large rifle primer for you. If it is good luck finding them right now

Thanks win7. If they fit I will find some. I drilled one out last night for a 209 primer. Still waiting on more fiber wads. Not sure it’s gonna work but they were free so not out much.

Just measured some Federal 210 and 215 primers and they measured .2105
The Remington 9-1/2 magnum primers measured .2095

Silverbowff:
I seen this yesterday doing some research, the primers that are in the hulls seem to be larger, not sure if they are primers from Finland or not. I was hopeful that someone from across the pond would chime in.

brass hulls are usually primed with large pistol primers not rifle.
