I have several flats of 16 gauge I am willing to trade for 28 gauge loads. I have Herters and Remington to swap. I am located in ohio and willing to meet up or ship if needed. I have a lot of 16 gauge and next to zero 28.
Anyone willing to barter?
I am willing to buy if at the right price. |

Shipping would be a killer. My local Wally World had some last time I was there. I don’t have a 28 so it’s no good to me but if you’re interested, I’ll check when I’m close. How many boxes would be the minimum you’d be interested in paying shipping for? |

Looks like Academy has AA’s in stock in 100 round boxes. About $11.00 per 25. |

Yes I agree shipping is the killer. I was hoping someone in ohio would want to do a straight trade 16 for 28 ammo. But that’s wishful thinking. I will be patient and find some local soon I’m sure. |

Checked today. Not a single shotgun shell of any gauge on the shelf. |

I guess I should clarify I can and have found ammo.... but it’s been so outrageous I refuse to pay it. I am very well stocked on everything except 28.... foolish me.... when Herters was on sale big time I loaded up on everything except 28!
Learned my lesson there. |

Dneff191- Is reloading not an option for you? Seems like last time I calculated it, loads to duplicate AA target loads are running @$4/box |

I’ve shot the 28 ga a lot for 25 years. I don’t recall ever shooting a factory load. Get a MEC size master, some AAHS hulls and fire away. |

I was just in Cabelas in Columbus. They had several boxes of 28 gauge ammo, Herters and Winchester AA. Herters was expensive but single boxes of AA was 11.99 and I bought a case of it for 10.99 per box. This was 7 1/2 shot. The Herters was 8 shot
They also had Browning 16 gauge ammo in high brass number 6 shot. 16.99 per box or a case for 159.99. I resisted as I have lots of 16 gauge ammo but should have bought a case to put back

Local wally world has nothing but 28 ga. shells. Double AA shells five 100 rd packs $37.50. per pack, over a case of Fed. top gun $ 6.97 a box of 25 all 7.5 shot.
Be nice if your wally world would transfer these to your store.
