Thanks all for the thoughts on adjusting the AyA POI. I will review your various recommendations and plot a course forward. First step will be to give it a thorough workout on the range and see what washes out. The hardest part will be to erase those thoughts lurking in my head that the gun is bound to miss no matter what I do. We’ll see about that.
And although not a LC Smith owner, in those wonderful precious days when I can still go afield with my sons and the dog, I’d rather be carrying a plain straight shooting Elsie than any priceless London Best double that I can’t hit anything with.

Good luck, Brewster. Get things dialed in the best you can and work on your technique. Light and dynamic game guns are challenging. |

POI adjustments that are due to barrel regulation issues can be fixed with careful dremel tool work in the parallel section of the choke, as described in detail by WyoChukar on a previous thread. I've done it, and it works. Expect to spend a couple hours at the patterning board. The results are worth it. |
