I am just curious. I have 2 Ithaca 37's in 16, 1 Modified & 1 IC. I recently picked up a H&R Topper in Modified & wondered if any of the common singles came out in Improved Cylinder. I don't think I ever seen one but can't help to think they were made. Thanks! |

seems like singles not full choke are rare. |

I had a old Iver Johnson Champion in 16 gauge and the barrel was marked choke bore. It was a good rabbit gun

I have a 90 +/- year old 16ga Springfield Arms center hammer single with 30” barrel that is choked between IC & Imp Mod. From all I can tell that is original. |

I've seen a few Savage/Stevens with a factory C-lect choke but other than that they're mostly full and a few modified.
Could always load some spreader shells... |

Had a Savage Stevens 28 ga. That I passed along to friends with younger grand kids.
Guess what? Full choke. Probably would have better off cutting 2” off the barrel and let them bang away. |
