Shot 4 boxes of GLs yesterday, and couldn't believe my eyes when I looked down the bores of the guns I had used. They were surprisingly clean. Previously, GLs left really dirty bores and a few grains of unburned powder here and there. None of that this time!
I purchased these shells last summer.
Anybody else notice a change or know why this might be? |

Yep, sure have. I shot some on a dove hunt in Sept. that I bought earlier in the year and noticed this. My guess as to the reason why is the powder has been changed. Guess I'm not crazy after all! |

Don't know I stash away all my store bought shells I might have to break out a box of the newer stuff and try 'em out----can't believe that much of a difference--glad to hear about it. |

You should also note the velocity has been increased from 1150 to 1200 FPS in the GL 1 ounce loads. It makes for a slightly more effective game load. |
