what you find as you dig into this is .... it isn't real simple . I've always had a stronger left eye , but was right eyed dom . Started to get cataracts several yrs ago , the lefty got worse 1st , but as the riighty developed , it radically changed the focus . At 1st , worked out well , as it faded the lefty , but needed to use a +1.5 in the righty only to correct . Got lefty done 1st - AMAZING !! However , it made me a lefty for skeet high houses . Got righty fixed , and it corrected the focus back to reg , but the damage was done with lefty being boss ! Now , the real crux is that both eyes have genetic Retinopathy !! Black holes just off of center . Therefore , can't use lens dots , squinting , etc , may be able to use left eye dots . (marker dots to difract focus) . It's been challenging , but am starting to get used to left eye leads on high houses and low gun low houses - helps ! ... there's a lot of ways to defeat this , but not all work . (our res HOF sketter is Craig Parsons - left eye dom , righty shooter , he squints when the bird emerges !!) |
