Not clear if it meets 400 sq in hunter orange req here in WA. Received warning from DFW officer while wearing similar style vest and orange hat for not wearing enough orange. Seems like they want everyone here to wear those big orange pillowcases.

Looks a little warm for my climate. I have tried about everything over the years. Can’t say enough good things about the Q5 products. Made in the USA by hunters.

I certainly love my Quillomine vest, especially when hunting out west where that water bladder is so necessary. Reminds me it's time to run it through the washing machine and get it ready for another bird season. I can't remember exactly how many bird seasons I've had it, but the blaze orange has faded to a mere memory of it's former glory. The vest is still as sound as the day I bought it. |

Have any of you checked out the Final rise vest ? Looks like a great product. I can't justify a new vest. I have a wingsworks that is going on 8 years of hard use I really love it . It shows a little bit wear but i doubt will need another vest for the next 20 years. |

Cant get too enthused about hunting vests. After a few seasons out here in incessant rain, mud, rocks, thorns, blackberry briars, with clumps of feathers, fur, hair and other game remains, drenched in various sprays and scents, ours start to resemble tattered scraps of a worn out gravel truck tarp, but maybe not that nice.
