Does anyone have a low pressure load for the Rio hull? Looking for a 1 oz load in the 7000 psi or lower range.

Rio hull dimensions are nearly identical to Cheddite, so in a pinch you could start with Cheddite recipes. Only restriction with Rio hulls is the need for Rio primers. Not sure how Rio primers compare to others with respect to speed and pressure, but I haven’t observed any difference in performance.

…but now I will go out on a limb, and ask why are you looking for such a low pressure load?

If 7000 psi is safe in your gun and 9500 is unacceptable, maybe you shouldn’t attempt to load your own shells, but instead obtain low pressure shells from a reputable quality manufacturer such as RST.

I only shoot hammer guns some steel barreled some damascus barreled. Shocked I've been reloading for a good number of years and enjoy it.
