Does anyone know for sure what type of hulls are used in the Challenger shotgun ammo that's made in Canada? My local range has them available in 12 & 20ga and I've asked them to see if they can get them in 16ga too. |

The 12's and 20's are Cheddite hulls, or at least exact copies for reloading purposes. so I assume 16's would also be but I've not seen any 16's.
If these are the current production Challengers with the headstamp including "Canada" on the 12 gauge hulls they are actually made in France, which is the home country of Cheddite. |

The few I have are Cheddite or Cheddite copies. The base wad height is low, so they do have noticeably more capacity in 12 ga. |

Thanks for the replies guys! I suspected that they were Cheddite hulls but I didn't have any to compare them to. |
