Anybody have any thoughts or comments regarding a Darne R13 in 16 GA ?
Yes ?, no ? maybe ?
It’s a fancy grade in very good condition. Have no idea of its age or chamber lengths, asking $2800. |

I like them, not sure if I would pay that much, but would be temped as long as it was numbers matching and not screwed with |

Ted Schefelbein seems to have a good bit of knowledge concerning Darne guns. Hopefully he will chime in with his expertise. |

Pretty vague post. What do you plan to do with it?
Try to arrange to shoot one before you buy one. Do not buy one if it doesn’t fit you. The only stock dimensions that are easily changed are LOP, shorter or longer.
It is easier to buy a Darne than to sell one. I find a good condition low grade gun just as appealing as a high grade Darne.
Those are my quick Darne buying rules. Let us know what happens.
