Just listened to him tell the story of the first ducks he ever killed. He used a a hand me down Auto 5 in 16 gauge. Killed two teal and a pintail pass shooting when he was 11 years old.
I should have known he was a 16ga man!😂😂

Yes, Louisiana Polytechnic Institute now called
La Tech University.

Wife graduated there in 1969 (BS Library Science)
and me in 1971 (BS Business Mgt)

Later got my MA in Engineering from West Texas State 1986
Now called West Texas A&M University

Good times back then

Mike

Mike,

Great stuff and very nice education, glad to see this kind of experience from our members! Mike I am also married to a highly educated and talented wife, she has her Masters in performance form Carnegie Mellon University and attended Balwin Wallace Music Conservatory, it looks like we both have been challenged to keep up with our mates. I am a very conservative engineer/US Army CID Special Agent retired, married to a semi liberal music professional for over 40 years now. I hope your marriage has been as rewarding as mine.

all the best,

Pine Creek/Dave

Truly

Been married almost 52 years, to the most wonderful woman.

She is awesome, used to shoot skeet with me before bad shoulders got in the way.

Comes out to the shop when I need a third hand and is skillful AND listens.

Is a conservative.

Hot Dog, I am blessed

Mike

Mike,

Congrats on have a fine beautiful better half that supports you in every way.

Great stuff, I have a similar situation and have been very happy for over 40 Plus years.
A few years ago my better half gave me an incredible #4 L.C. Smith double gun for Christmas, it does not get any better than having a supportive beautiful wife. I actually feel sorry for some of these young guys today, I know they will never have what both of us are blessed with.

all the best,

Pine Creek/Dave

Phil used the 16 gauge a lot in the first couple Duckmen videos. Then they got a deal with Browning and starting using the BPS & Gold's in 3" & 3 1/2" 12 gauge.
