I have the following Fox 16 Gauge Philadelphia built Sterlingworth for sale. The specs are as follows:
Serial # 363604 Built in 1927
28" Barrels with shiny bores. Right Barrel has one dent that is shown in the pictures.
MWT: LB .034 RB .033
Chokes LB .015 Modified RB .005 Improved Cylinder
LOP 14 1/4" from front trigger
DAC 1 5/8"
DAH 2 15/16"
No Cast
Auto Safety
2 9/16" Chambers
#3 weight barrels
Weight 6lbs 1 oz
30% Case Colors
80-85% Barrel Blue
Wood 90% condition with no cracks, dents, or significant scratches
All the serial numbers appear to match but the forearm I discovered is not original. If you look close in the pictures the number on the forearm was restamped at some point and the number stamped in the wood underneath does not match so it is a replacement forearm from another sterlingworth. There is an area about the size of a dime under the forearm that shows a little pitting/rust that is shown in the pictures as well. The gun locks up tight and is ready for the uplands.
$1250 Shipped UPS to C&R FFL or FFL (NO California Shipping)

I'm surprised it has not been sold. A very good gun with great chokes for upland and at an excellent price.
I can say that because I have 2 Sterlingworth's exactly the same as yours and an A Grade all 16 ga. I have a few others (Parker & LC Smith) but for whatever reason always seem to take the Sterlingworth.
Good luck with selling it. |

+1 on what BobK said plus Matts great to deal with. I'm sure it will go fast when you list it on GI or GB. |

I posted a notice about it on the Fox collectors web site; figured for sure you'd get some interest from there |
