Just bought an old 16ga Savage 775a. Specs are 28" barrel, holds 4 rounds.
Now I have a gun to go with my 25 boxes of old 16ga ammo I inherited.
I'll post better pictures once it arrives. My first autoloader - well, maybe. I inherited a '47 Remington Model 11 12ga polychoke, but gave it to my brother-in-law, as it was his grandfathers. It's in perfect condition, but everytime I see them he says "I'm going to have that gun checked out..." which drives me crazy, as his grandfather hunted with it, and I used it for doves a few years ago. Works perfectly.
Maybe if I don't like the Savage I'll trade him for it... but I think I'll like the 775a, and I've wanted a 16ga for - forever.
Here's a few pictures the dealer posted.
It's got a little wear on her, but I can deal with that. |
