And, Elk, Bear & Whitetail. The Sportsman's Series of knives that had those 7 game animals depicted aren't an option in this current option reduced environment.
Well certainly seems like enough interest again so I'll circle back w/Case and see what knives are available for a custom run like this. And also contact slong to make sure that using a likeness of the 16ga Society logo again is still OK. |

putz463 thank you so much for doing this no matter how it turns out. It is appreciated.
And FallCreekFan thank you for starting this. Everytime I see FallCreekFan I smile and think of all my 16 ga. 37's.

This is where I would hit one of those like buttons if one existed. I was down the road at Alfred. My grandfather was a Ceramic Engineer at Corning Glass Wellsboro plant and I was always supposed to follow in his footsteps. He gave me his slide rule when I went off to Alfred for Ceramic Engineering.
Ended up majoring in grouse hunting, there were TONS of grouse back then in the Twin Tiers, and trapping. And the foosball tournaments for money in Salamanca, NY. After 2 years went off to the Navy Nuclear Engineering program where I finished my 2 degrees. My grandfather asked for his slide rule back. |

I'd be interested. I prefer the one with the gut-hook myself, love that for cleaning birds... |

I bought 2 last time, 1 for me and 1 for my dad. Will likely do the same if it happens again. I can really appreciate the effort that was put into this to pull it off, kind of like herding cats I imagine.
I love the standard trapper like last time, have multiples from multiple brands in my daily carry rotation.
The “sportsman’s” series not being an option doesn’t hurt my feelings at all. Not badmouthing the last round, but the graphics kind of distracted from the 16 gauge graphic. In my opinion only of course, everybody has an opinion.
I wonder if Case could/would do a dyed purple bone? I’ve seen some smooth camel bone dyed purple from Great Eastern Cutlery and it looks killer, and would go with the 16 theme.
Repeat of a trapper. Or a Copperlock. Or a Stockman. Or a muskrat.
My name is Cheesy, and I like slipjoint knives… |

I got two the last time they were offered. Was very pleased with the knives.
If this can be done again I'll take two also, |

OK, this isn't going to be easy or not as easy as last time. These are 4 smooth sided models they have available for engraving "right now and can't guarantee them being available tomorrow"...since their inventory is almost minute to minute and the last time we did this the order process on here ran for I think a month before being able to collect all the promised order funds that took at least another couple weeks and then being able actually submit the order for "X" amount of knives I'm not sure how to proceed.

I'm in for 2 if this happens.
Order preference from the above posted pics: 4, 2, 1, 3.
See, that was easy. |
