My knife finally arrived today. The mail often takes longer to get here than it should. I rushed the mailbox after i saw the mail carrier go by and was happy to find two packages there. my 16ga knife and my new hat from SASSS(Society of Side by Sode Shotguns)
This is a facebook group that is growing fast. We share our stories of our favorite guns and get together for fun shoots
I am happy that my birthday present got here before my birthday after all! |

I forgot to mention that after opening the box I found the knife to be every bit as nice as I had hoped for and a full size pocket knife which I really prefer. Smaller people than I would probably prefer the pouch that was available but for a full size guy like me(6'4' 330lbs) if is a perfect pocket knife |

We were gone on vacation when these came in, so had to beat the wife to the mailbox upon arrival.
I got one of the bone and one of the blue and couldn't be happier. Didn't think I'd like the blue as much just because it was a synthetic, but it is sure polished up nice and has white highlights in the 16GA engraving to set it off. Zero complaints.
Dad came over after dog sitting for 10 days, so gave him his choice of the 2. Not sure which one he left with this morning. Guess we'll both have to carry our 16's in South Dakota come November and use these to skin some birds.
I chuckle (in a friendly manner) at the comments of it being a big knife and glad for the sheath. To me, its the perfect size pocket knife. Big enough to do something, but not overwhelming. Of course, I've carried the exact same size trapper of various flavors for the last 25+ years, going back to my high school days.
Anyways, thanks for doing this for us. |

I received the three I ordered last week. They are very nice and two will go to my sons this fall at our annual Grouse Camp. I always have something for them laying on their beds upon their arrival. These will fit the bill nicely.
Thanks for the effort, and
Good Hunting,
Mike |
