Heads up. I recently stumbled on a couple boxes of these at Wally World and was surprised that they were only about 67-68mm hulls. I just bought a case on line, since they are only 1165fps and short I can use them in almost all my 16s.
These may be a good option for some of you guys also.

Do they still say made in Australia on the side of the box? Cheddite hulls so good for reloads. Plus, to me, they seem very soft shooting.

The hulls may measure about 67mm but since the box is marked 2 3/4" (70mm) under CIP rules they will be proofed at 2 3/4" pressure. They are standard CIP 2 3/4" pressure loads and are not suitable for 2 1/2" guns.

The French made cartridges by Cheddite are very good.

They are suitable in my guns I have no idea of what anyone else has.
Aren’t cip max pressure approximately 10600 psi?
All my Belgium, Austrian and German guns are proofed well over 12k
Some of them over 14k.
I shoot 10k psi shells every week.

Please don’t assume your guns are safe without consulting an expert.
European 67mm factory shells are marked cip and they say can be used in 65mm chambers on the box?

Yes, CIP 67mm cartridges can be used in 65mm chambered guns.

But these are not CIP 67mm cartridges, they are CIP 70mm cartridges which are NOT CIP approved for 2 1/2 inch chambers. The 67mm physical length of the cartridge case does not change the fact that these are 70mm loads as clearly marked on the box at 2 3/4 inches.

Thanks very interesting.
So what is the cip max for a 67mm shell vs 70mm cip?

If anyone is concerned about their guns proof or pressure of a given shell it would be prudent to have shells pressure tested.

I do not disagree with flychamps.
But according to the internet? Questionable?
Cip pressures for these are

Hope the French Winnie hull is as good for reloading as the Aussie hull was. Was able to get 7-8 good reloads out the Austrailian made hull.

Guess I'll have to try some if my Wally World has them. Like the shorter hull too, will work good in the Win Mod 12 like the Rem hulls do.

Was a little surprised to see cip max average pressure at 780 bars. That’s like 11300 or so. So these shell could be higher in pressure than I was counting on. So be aware.

All new ammo except for RST and Polywad Vintager, can be and usually is loaded between 10,000 and 11,500 PSI. Remember that Winchester loads have to conform to SAAMI Standards not CIP Standards......and not many factory loads are going to be loaded a lot less than 10,000 PSI.

these loads are a large GAIN for Win M12 shooters . That shorter shell , just like the Rems always work in those guns . The ballistics are never a problem like they might be in other guns , ie doubles . Too bad all the manufacturers don' adjust to that length . Been trimming my Feds to that length since Byrdog invented his trimmer !

These are the shortest “2 3/4” shells I have found. With RST out of the game, these are perfect for me. Of course, have your particular gun checked by a competent gunsmith before shooting any shell or gun. But for me, the Winchester shells shoot very nicely in my Verney Carron 16 gauge with 65mm chambers. In fact, they are quite a bit shorter than the Gamebore 67mm black powder loads I have. Of course, those are roll crimped. I measured and made a list of all of the commercial 16 ga shells I have and for my 65mm chambered guns, I will use Winchesters, followed by Remingtons, followed by Federals. I don’t recommend anyone else do this, but that is what I do in my guns.
