I'll be staying at Lake of the Woods for awhile and looking for some clays shooting opportunities. The DNR website for shooting ranges lists Lake of the Woods rod and gun and S&M sporting clays. I talked to a guy from the rod and gun club but didnt sound like anything while I'm there. Theres no contact info for S&M on the dnr site; the guy from Lake of the Woods rod and gun said he would try to find a ph# but havent heard from him. Anybody have any info for clubs around Baudette/Warroad area? |

Hit Jon up. He has hunted Beltrami since he was young if anyone knows of other places around there he would. Everyone in his group has died off which is why the last few years he has hunted with me in the tip of the Arrowhead.
I used to hunt around Birchdale years ago and would go into Baudette to get cell phone reception. As you know not much in that area let alone Sporting Clay courses. Or skeet. Being Mn. might be a trap field or 2 if you are really desperate
The Falls is a bit far away but might have something. If you can find enough for a full squad looks like WARROAD LOST RIVER SPORTSMEN COMPLEX has 10 stands on a 50 bird SC course. And Salol isn't that far away from where you will be.

I'd give them a call and see if you could help fill out a squad.
Crow season will not be open and there are more Ravens than crows anyhow. Tough one. Time for a good portable trap machine? |

Lost River complex might be an option. |
