bigblue,
No doubt about it, the prices on good guns have risen again. Make the best deals you can when purchasing.
all the best,

The problem up this way seems to be what I call basement dealers we have a half dozen or so that take over a web page and push their wears at crazy prices and keep bumping their add to take over first page. I guess we deal in a market economy but that does not make it easy to swallow. |

Some of the guns which were under $1000 are now guns under $2000.
I've picked up some nice sxs shotguns this past year for what I thought were reasonable prices. Their prices have not risen exponentially as others have. The sellers came off the asking price about 5% on each one.

Lots of guns sitting not selling. |

Some of the used British guns are still selling for what they did a few years ago. Real nice $1000-2000 dollar guns are still pretty available. Inexpensive guns of decent quality (well under $1000) however, seem to be hard to find. |

One thing that I have come to appreciate: Everything that I have purchased in my life costs more than I want to pay. |

I am seeing the modern 9mm or plastic or concealable autos, classic smith and colt revolvers, colt 1911, modern shotguns etc all going price crazy, while older odd ball pieces or odd calibers that were never real common being priced and sold at still reasonable prices. |
