Not a 16 but….. I’m looking at a Huglu side by side 28 gauge/ 410 set for about $1000.
I know there are several Huglu owners here so I’m asking…. Am I walking past a good deal or correctly resisting the siren call?
I would use it for a bad weather day when my LC 16 is resting and an occasional sporting clays gun.
Thanks for any feedback. |

I have the CZ Ringneck in 410 and A DeHaan Huglu 28 ga in the Ringneck configuration. I would not even consider letting go of either gun. The DeHaan has exhibition grade wood that is just stunning, and the 410 went to Briley for the cutest set of screw in choke tube you ever saw. Both guns work very well on preserve quail. |

I have two Huglus. Both 16ga Dehaans. Matching engraving, one is a sxs, the other is an OU.
I would pass on that set, but only if you let me know where it is |

Bottom line I don’t own it .

I’ve never owned one, but a two barrel set for $1000? I’d very much wonder about the real quality, whether the barrels were regulated etc. |

I have a Huglu 28 ga SXS (DeHaan) and a 410 CZ Ringneck. Both being scaled frames, there is no way to fit the barrels to another frame without it looking like a complete mess. The gun had to be purposely built as a 410/28 ga two barrel gun. |
