I have a number of black rem hulls in both 6 pt and 8 pt crimp. any difference in performance between them? |

The 8 points are cuter but I haven't seen any difference in performance. |

I don't believe there is any performance difference, but some have experienced other differences. See link form a few months ago.....

I have very few 8pnt RGL's in the stash so when one comes through I simply give it a nudge with the 6pnt starter and they final crimp fine. |

Because the 6 point folds are deeper than 8 point folds, the latter will have slightly more capacity than 6 point crimps. And the 8 point hulls may last longer for the same reason.
All that being said, I use 6 point crimps exclusively because they are easier to make and are less likely to unfold.
