Sorry this may not exactly fit the 16ga forum, but I need some help and maybe need to vent a little bit. I have this 16ga Ringneck s/s and I recently broke a firing pin on a South Dakota pheasant hunt last month. I called CZ and they sent me 2 new pins right away, so I thought they must be easy to put in. Well after taking it apart I realized it was probably more than I wanted to get into. So I called CZ again and they said they cannot repair it and I'm SOL. I love this gun and I always recommended CZ's to everyone. The gun is only 15 years out and they say they cannot repair it. Does anyone have any suggestions on what to do or someone that might be able to replace the pin. Thanks in advance |

Any competent gunsmith can replace the pins for you. I’d order a set of springs if the gun is 15 years old and replace them while it’s apart.
The pins may need to be adjusted for length, so supplying a dozen or so primered shells is a good idea.
Letting us know your specific location may help with a local recommendation. |
