Saw this gun Thursday last week at a local shop. In remarkable condition except for the repaired crack in the usual place (behind right lock-plate, they'd fixed it in-house). I didn't weigh it but it was an early gun and very light (for a Smith), 28-tubes, uncut w/good original finishes. $1,395. Didn't check the chokes or the ejectors, but if I didn't already have a good upland double, this one would've gone home with me. It would cost more w/o the crack, so just a good user. I have no vested interest in this sale, but this gun needs to go someplace with grouse. 303-781-3626, ask for Billy. |
