In the current (June '23) issue of Fur Fish & Game, some hard-earned fine points about varmint marksmanship and optics. It's the Voice of Experience speaking.

I like the idea of going back to the dot reticle, but good luck finding one....

I picked up a BSA target scope a few years back: fine crosshair and 24x. Still looking for a 22 to put it on, seeing as my CZ 452 performs exceptionally well with the 6-24x variable I got for not much money. One thing at a time.

In any event, the article's worth the price of the magazine if you don't subscribe already. (And if not, why not?)
