As part of a deal, I acquired a Rem 870 16 ga barrel. It’s full choke, 28”, no rib, but top of barrel is checkered to stop glare.
Wanting to sell this at a price that’s fair for the buyer and seller. |

Sounds like an 870 ADL barrel, should be considered a bit of an upgrade to a plain barrel and of greater interest to someone looking for one to match an existing ADL gun, but functionally I don't think it's any different.
Fair can only be decided by seller and buyer. Are you wanting your money back out of the cost to you? Are you not wanting to endure the inevitable accusation that you "left money on the table" by some wheeler-dealer clown? To an extent you can find prices on ebay and gunbroker for what people are willing to pay, it's up to you to set the price after that. The few times I've searched for them I noticed they weren't very common. Could be trade fodder down the road for something you really want.
I'd expect such a barrel to be priced at $200-225 at a pawn shop, would not be surprised to see one priced at $400 on a table at a gun show. Nothing current at Corson''s, but they should show up at some point. https://corsonsbarrels.com/rem870barrels.htm |

I’ll post it for sale here shortly. I don’t know what I paid for it, cause it was part of a package deal.
Thanks for your comments. |
