LOL, I am sure we would have a good time Mike, but I think that Amarillo is just a bit too far to go for wads.

I bought 3 cases several years ago. Still have 2 cases left. Great wad just don't fit well in cf hulls. That is the hull I use for most all my reloading.

Anyone find new DR16's anywhere? I have looked at Graf's, Natchez, Midsouth, Midway, Precision, BPI, Recob's and Third Generation......nothing.

I really hate to sell what I have incase they don't come out with more. But everyone here knows I am a sucker for once fired cf hulls.so if someone wants a few bags and interested in a trade. I am open to offers but I really don't want to sell any dr wads for $ 16 gauge stuff is better than $.

For me, I am more interested in whether DownRange is serious. I am looking to switch powders and that means testing. I have already put money into data for the DR16. If I am going to spend more money on more data for the DR16 I want wads that I can buy from a retail store or a distributor.

Right now, that isn't looking very realistic.

Vihtavouri N320 mostly for the DR16, but N310 is also on the agenda.

Interesting, I can't find any 16 gauge recipes for either.

There is loading data for Gualandi wads using N320. The loads are in the Gualandi data here:

http://www.gualandi.it/docs/tabpolv_2013_eng.pdf

You won't find much DR16 load data anywhere except here on 16ga.com and the 24 Hour Campfire. There is a member here that also has the spreadsheets that he has redone.

The Vihtavuori powder loads using the DR16 would have to be sent to Tom Armbrust or Precision Reloading, which is OK with me IF DownRange decides to make the DR16 again. It doesn't seem as if they have, even though promises have been made.

At this point I am probably moving on to loads using N320 and 3N37 and not using the DR16. Why? The Vihtavuori powders are easy to get. No more expensive than any other powder at present. When I use them they kind of remind me of PB, SR7625 and SR4756. I am tired of ball powders, which is about the only thing you can get right now. I am bored!! LOL
