Gentlemen,

Long ago my mother told me I have a shotgun problem, just like the other men in our family. I willingly admit I like fine double guns, and do acquire them when ever possible. I see nothing wrong with having this problem and try to pass the problem on to as many sportsman as I can, have even gifted some nice double guns as I mentor new Grouse hunters.

How many of you have a shotgun problem, is the problem getting bigger as your income expands? Are you an avid bird hunter and do you participate in different shooting venues with your shotguns. Have you reached the point in your life where you have a nice collection of shotguns and do you use them every season you can to bird hunt?

all the best,

Pine Creek/Dave
L.C. Smith Man

A small sampling of some of my shotgun problem. Fully addicted to fine Classic double guns.

Hi my name is Dave, and I have a shotgun problem. Specifically Ithacas and Citoris, all but a couple being 16 ga.

Saying I have a shotgun problem is like saying Bruce Lee had a Kung Fu problem. It's not a problem when you're the best at it.

I was a mess for many years , then I found my Iside. Honestly things have been pretty quiet since. It really quenched a thirst so my gun buying (mostly bird guns) has slowed WAY down. The only thing I’d like to add at this point is either another custom Iside or an RFM.

I know how many safes I have and the space available. I don't know how many shotguns I have. It's no problem. Laughing

I have been referred to a twelve-step program once but decided to stay in denial. I'm happy here, and it's nice to learn about old guns with hands-on experience.

Hi My name is Marshall and I am a pumpaholic. 31 is my favorite number. I am too uncoordinated to use two triggers, but the birds never know.

I did not start to have a shotgun problem until a few years after my divorce Shocked Since then I have been able to follow my passions.I got started with sxs double guns when I bought my first, a CZ Ringneck 16ga in 2006. A few years later I bought my first LC Smith and it snowballed from there.
Of course it is not a problem unless you run out of room and have to add to the storage locker Exclamation

Its not a problem unless you dont get all of your field guns out at least once in a season. Dont ask me how I know. Rolling Eyes

I'm not sure it's exactly a problem, but I am having some space issues in my gunroom. All my field gear is stored in there, as well as my fishing tackle (rods & reels), my wife also uses it as storage for her project stuff too and it's getting quite cluttered in there now. Since it's the coolest & dryest room in the house, it's got a wine rack in there as well.

In the last year, I have added to the mess by accumulating a few more guns and the ammo to feed them (current events seem to have precipitated that a little). I guess I could either move-out my wife's canning supplies (& a few other items) or roll-up my sleeves and get to tidying-up back there. Tidying-up would be the far-less fractious solution.
