Having dealing with the death of Larry Del Greco and finding a "smith" for browning
the barrel and now trying to mate the barrels and receiver.
I can't get the hammers to cock the hammers.
So I need a photo to get the proper positioning the the parts to allow easier and opening / closing and the hammer getting cocked.
Thanks. |

Install the barrels and forearm then open and close the gun. Should solve the issue. |

As Silverbowff notes- should work.
I keep my guns separated with the springs relaxed. To do this I open the action, insert snap caps, close action. "shoot" both barrels; then remove foreend and barrels without opening the action. To assemble: reinsert the locking lugs into the action and close the breech, attach the foreend. Then open the action as if to eject the shells. this should cock the action.
From your description it sounds like there may be other issues with getting the gun back together, so not sure what to say on that. |

May need a drop of oil.
As the Larry Del Greco, tighten the action and it was March of 23 i returned the barrels for "browning", then his situation unfolded.
so, might be a dab of oil inside there. |

The smith who did the "browning" of the barrel, reverse the "cocking catch 280 degree out of phase.
Reversed it and everything goes
click-click on the snap caps.
Will try to get a replacement for the spring to keep it motion stronger.
Thanks. |
