Had a great opening weekend chukar hunting. The weather here in Oregon was glorious, and it was so nice just to be out with my setter. We were both going a little stir crazy. It didn't hurt that we ran into some chukars either. Great start, and I can't wait to go again in a couple weeks. Here are a couple pics. Feel free to share your adventures!

So glad it was a great opener for you. With all your fires this year I wondered what the impact would be on hunting (and air quality). |

Yeah, it was pretty bad. Luckily, the area where I hunt was ok, but only by about ten miles. Sigh. |
