Jta5er: Interesting damascus mono-block on that last posted hammer.
French or Belgium? Is that a Henri Pieper? |

| Yes H. Pieper on original Dianna patent, but doesn’t mention Dianna. I really like this one, it has English black powder proofs but will know more soon when it arrives. |

| There were Pieper some guns that had his name spelled out in the ribands of the damascus. Is this one of them? |

Nope not that fancy. Just did backyard proof with 2 factory 1oz winchesters in each barrel, no change in anything. She’s ready to go with my <6k reloads just like she sits. Thickness measured same as my others but definitely got honed.
This one just seems to be a higher quality hammer Pieper than the others I have seen.
Obviously have seen higher Piepers though. |

| There's some interesting action going on at your muzzles. Fluid steel mono-block, muzzles and ribs? |

Original Pieper patent from doc Hause. Damascus feed through steel breach block with steel barrel hanger that you pointed out(good eye).

Old rusty Guyot came back on face and ready to go, just needs wood refinished now.
Patterns great with 7/8oz longshot 6000psi load.

| All of my shotguns are hammer guns...but the hammers are internal and I don't have to cock them. |

After a couple rounds with these old hammer guns I don’t think I will be able to go back hammerless not to mention looking at these Damascus barrels between

Jta5er,
Those old Hammer guns can really get under your skin and develop into a real habit!

| Yep only 2 came in and 1 left. But I didn’t mind just admired the scenery. The pair had a nice 8mph tail wind, first bird ( .003 choke) lost some tail feathers the second bird went into the cooler. Just saying it will be hard to leave the hammer guns at home. |
