For Sale-I have a nice all original 1938 Winchester model 42 .410. It has a 3” chamber and 28” MOD smooth barrel. Gun is in overall very good shape with normal wear. I have only sold 16 ga guns on here in the past, but I like dealing with the members on this site.
$1,795.00 plus shipping and FFL cost SOLD
I don’t know how to post pics on this site so if you pm me your cell# or email I can send.
Respectfully,
Marty |

That's from a time when craftsmen built guns. |

I have a ‘38, been in my family since before WWII. It was a standard 28” full choke, corn cob forend field gun.
Bones were good, always taken care of, much of the bluing was worn off. I shot, my brother shot, my Dad and his uncle shot the gun many times in my native MO.
A couple years ago I handed it off to Roger Eubanks out here in Idaho, reblued, all factory engraving sharpened up, vent rib added, exhibition walnut. It a great 16 yard trap gun with my 3” reloads, ready to hand off to my son, the 4th generation to own…[/img] |

| Never met Roger but he does marvelous work. I got my hands on a model 12 solid rib 16 skeet gun that he had gone through and turned into new again, would not hesitate to recommend for any model 12 or 42 projects. |
