I would like to see one first--years ago I bought a metal case at one of the tool shows for a low price----it lasted about one year before it started giving me problems-not latching, etc. You get what you pay for |

About 10 or 12 years ago, I brought a $300.00 leather 20 ga. takedown case from the now defunct Cape outfitters. Don't complain, I git it for a 5 1/2 lb 16ga. Everything fit perfect except the snap caps. Anyway, that case didn't fare too well. Good takedown cases Like the "Huey' brand cost thousands. One gets what one pays for. |

Gun cases are like furniture. If you plan on getting quality and keeping it for years and years then spend the extra money. Decent quality custom ones are running around six bills on the average from what I've seen. If you want one to beat and probably get tired of and want something different in a few years don't pay the premium. If you plan on flying with it go with something other than leather in my opinion. Folks just dont take care of your guns and gun cases like you would. That is a very cheap price on that one, I'd have to see it to tell if it is a cheap price for a reason...
