Dave Riffle (daverifflegunsales.com) has several m12's in 16 ga on his site. The prices look kinda high, but maybe I finally had some decent luck buying guns when I found my m12 at a pawn shop in Woodville TX. I paid 650 for mine, but every one I see in "like new" condition is a few 100 more. I really love this little gun even though my 12's with two barrels are whining away in my gun safe. Funny how things work out, after all the dinero and stock fitting and restoration of 12 ga doubles, I now shoot a m12 as my go to gun. Life does go in circles since I started out my checkered shooting career when I was 9 years old with m12's. Some kinda imprinting thing?
Dave also wrote "The Winchester Model 12" book which I have ordered from him...he is a fine guy and fun to have "Winchester chats' with. |

Setter: I've been a confirmed Model 12 user for years..have 5 of them and a couple of Model 42's to boot ! I drool periodically at Riffle's site...bought his excellent book on the Model 12 which is the definitive work on that fine gun as far as I'm concerned.
You'll enjoy both your gun and the reading ! |
