| I have a very nice SxS JP Saur and Sohns 16 ga. It has 26" barrels and double triggers. The old recoil pad is stiff and useless and there are dings in the stock from many, many, trips into the field. It's a very light gun; less than 6 lbs. I don't hunt any more and in CA, you can't use lead shot any way. I'm thinking of letting it go. I just don't know what its worth is and if there would be any interest. I can send pics if anyone is serious. I'd like to get $1,400 for it. The gun dates to about 1953 and has 23//4' chambers choked F and M. |

Cabela's here in Omaha has a Model 8, I don't know where the various models of the Sauer line fall. It's got the Q1 stamp on the barrel lug, and I believe their claim of just over 6lbs in weight, might be a guideline for comparative value.
