Hi all, just was wondering about these SxS's, when compared to the Tristar Brittany Classic the BSA Royal Classic looks the same. I wonder if they are the same model? I know that they were made by Zabala and Bill Hanus offered them for awhile. Whats the scoop on them good, bad or what?
Thanks!!!

Zabala guns tend to be iffy in the quality control dept. especially with bore regulation and uniformity. I've seen some with .010" difference in the bores on a set of barrels. This might or might not be a problem with fixed chokes, but it plays hell with choke tubed guns. The guns tend to be heavy too. The BSA classic is nearly 7-1/2 pounds. Single selective triggers on Zabala guns can be problematic too. So its a roll of the dice. The BSA Classic has been discontinued. EAA, the importer no longer handles BSA shotguns. As far as I know, they are not currently being imported, so service might be non-existant. IMO, you are really rolling the dice here. |

Best bet is to pony up for a quality shotgun and bypass the ones in your thread |
